Berkeley County landfill is acquiring large amounts of trash from the recent pass-through of Hurricane Ian.

After Hurricane Ian traveled through the area, the Berkeley County landfill is now receiving large amounts of trash and debris. The landfill has reportedly received 250 tons of waste since the hurricane went through. Of this debris, not much is from the destruction of buildings or infrastructure. This is different compared to prior hurricanes that caused much more structural damage waste to be brought in.
