Denver Asks Residents to Compost Fall Leaves
The city of Denver is hosting compost drop-offs for fall leaves and pumpkins. The city is urging residents to divert this waste from landfills.

The city of Denver is urging residents to compost fall leaves and aging pumpkins instead of throwing them in the trash. The city will offer a compost drop-off for these items. All compostable items must be brought in recyclable paper bags in order to be accepted. Seven different drop-off locations will be open on several different occasions throughout October and November.
