In this episode of Stef Talks Trash, Editorial Director Stefanie Valentic speaks with Dan Brown, co-founder of Rust Belt Riders in Cleveland, Ohio. Founded in 2014, Rust Belt Riders hauls food scrap away from landfills in the city and takes it to the company's composting facility.
The end product is a nutrient-rich soil that "combats food waste, fights climate change and supports the radical effort of growing your own food," according to Tilth's website.
