ACE Recycling & Disposal is making a move in increase its sustainability efforts for its local area in West Valley City, Utah by adding an electric refuse truck to its fleet.
A Mack LR Electric Class 8 refuse truck is on its way to ACE Recycling & Disposal and is expected to be delivered in September where it will operate in a residential setting with the goal of hitting 1,200 stops each collection day.
“Mack Trucks is excited ACE Disposal chose a Mack LR Electric refuse vehicle to further its sustainability efforts for their customers in Utah, while also meeting their own sustainability goals,” says Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America. “Mack is committed to providing refuse solutions that offer zero emissions and improve sustainability for the benefit of the environment.”
ACE Disposal continues its efforts in innovation and alternative fuels in the industry with its new electric truck. ACE became the first company to use a CNG garbage truck and the first to order an electric garbage truck in Utah.
