The Monticello City Council is now less than a month away from deciding on one single waste hauler to provide for the city.

The Monticello City Council has less than a month to make a decision regarding the city's waste hauler. The city currently functions under legislature allowing up to four different waste-hauling licenses. First, the council will decide whether to update this legislature allowing for only one hauler and then depending on that decision, they will decide what provider is best for the city's residents. The council has received offers from both GFL and Republic to be the city's single provider.
