Republic Services workers in San Diego are demanding better wages and worker conditions. A strike has entered its 19th day allowing trash to pile up in the city.

The company and its employees entered negotiations again on Tuesday following a holiday break. Republic notified local media outlets that is it continuing its regular collection schedule with the help of relief crews.
